About the Role
Do you walk into a rental unit and immediately spot what's broken, worn out, or just not working right? Can you troubleshoot a leaking faucet, replace a garbage disposal, repair drywall, install a light fixture, and get an appliance back up and running-all before lunch?
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in solving problems, working efficiently, and helping transform rental units into move-in-ready homes.
Who We Are
At 4 Hearts Property Services, we partner with property management companies to complete move-out
assessments and rental turnovers. Our mission is simple: deliver high-quality, move-in-ready rental units quickly and professionally.
Our success depends on three specialized teams working together:
- Maintenance Team - Repairs, troubleshooting, and functionality
- Paint & Drywall Team - Restores walls, ceilings, trim, and finishes
- Cleaning Team - Delivers the final polished touch
Every team plays a critical role in preparing homes that residents are excited to move into.
What You'll Do
• Complete maintenance repairs in occupied and vacant rental units
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances
• Perform basic electrical repairs including switches, outlets, fixtures, and ceiling fans
• Perform plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, disposals, drains, and supply lines
• Complete carpentry tasks such as door adjustments, trim work, hardware installation, and minor framing repairs
• Identify maintenance issues during inspections and recommend solutions
• Work efficiently to meet turnover deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Coordinate with office for return appointments, special material needs
What We're Looking For
• Experience in residential maintenance, apartment maintenance, handyman services, construction, or a related trade
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, mature, and accountable work ethic
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Growth mindset and coachability
• Desire to grow professionally and advance into leadership opportunities
